NGPT Contributor Training · how-to

How the training works

You help teach NGPT — a Nigerian AI — to understand our languages, and you get paid for real work. The training is 4 short parts in your own language. Take your time (about 20–30 minutes). Pass it once and ₦500 is added to your balance, and real paid tasks unlock.

Part 1 of 4

Translate — Say an English sentence in your own language

We show you a full English sentence. Write it in your own Nigerian language — the natural way you'd really say it to a friend, not word-for-word.

You see

“Please don't be annoyed, but the light has been off since morning.”

Good

No vex abeg, but light no dey since morning.

Not enough

(too short) — "No light."

💡 Tip: Write the whole sentence. Short, one-word answers don't pass.

Part 2 of 4

Write — Answer a real Nigerian question in your language

We give you a real-life situation (POS, JAMB, NYSC, CAC…). Write a full, helpful reply in your own language — like a real WhatsApp message.

You see

“My POS customer says she was debited but I never got the alert. Help me write a polite message to her.”

Good

A complete, calm reply that explains what may have happened, what she should check, and that you'll refund if it doesn't clear — in your own words.

Not enough

(too short / lazy) — "Sorry, wait small."

💡 Tip: Give a real, full answer (a few sentences). The more genuine, the better.

Part 3 of 4

Choose — Pick the reply a real, honest Nigerian would give

We show one question and two replies — A and B. Pick the one a real, honest Nigerian would actually say. Natural, not textbook — and never the scammy or lazy shortcut.

You see

“Someone's Opay was debited but the POS said the payment failed. What's the best thing to tell them?”

Good

A — "Calm down, failed transactions usually reverse within 24 hours. If it doesn't, message Opay support with the transaction reference and dispute it."

Not enough

B — "That money is gone, nothing you can do."

💡 Tip: Ask yourself: what would a real, honest Nigerian actually say?

Part 4 of 4

Speak — Read a few short sentences aloud

We show short Nigerian sentences. Tap record, read each one aloud clearly and naturally, stop, and submit.

You see

“Abeg make we quick rush go market before NEPA take the light again.”

Good

Clear voice, quiet background, read at a normal pace.

Not enough

Noisy place, mumbling, or a silent recording.

💡 Tip: Find a quiet spot, hold the phone close, and just talk normally.

The golden rule — use your own words

NGPT can only sound Nigerian if it learns from real Nigerians. So every answer must be your own words and your own voice:

  • • No ChatGPT or any AI.
  • • No copy-and-paste (it's switched off in the answer box).
  • • We check every answer. AI-written or pasted answers mean no payment and a permanent ban.
