Payout and tax disclosure

The payout shown is the payout intended to land.

This page explains the current tester payout model in plain English, including WHT gross-up, Flutterwave transfers, and what is not automated yet.

Client pays floor

₦4,000.00

Tester take-home

₦2,000.00

WHT gross-up tracked

₦105.26

Current policy

  • The amount shown on a task card is the tester take-home amount intended to land in the verified Nigerian bank account.
  • Where WHT applies, 9jatesters grosses up the tester take-home and tracks a separate WHT remittance ledger row; the tax is funded from platform margin, not deducted from the displayed payout.
  • Flutterwave handles account resolution and transfers. Your bank account is verified once after demo approval and before paid work unlocks.
  • Formal payout statements, TIN capture, and remittance-certificate workflows are not self-serve yet. Testers can request a support-issued statement by email while the automated flow is being built.

Not tax advice

This page explains 9jatesters' operating model; it is not personal tax advice. If you need a payout statement, remittance support, or TIN-related documentation, email [email protected] from the account you use on 9jatesters.
